BTM Wide-Trak 75 Transmission

So...How Does it Work?.. It Works
GREAT!
Simply put, step on
the foot shift lever one time, and you are ready to go.
-
No hand clutch
-
Apply the throttle it
goes
-
Release the throttle it
stops
-
Get great low speed pulling
power and a limited top speed. (the best for first
timers)
Step on it again and you get the
speed.
-
Throttle limiter controls both
Hi and Lo
-
Not as much low end torque,
but smoother high speed performance
-
Need more pulling power, stomp
on the Heel shifter and it's in Lo
-
Stomp again and the unit is
back in Neutral (and yes, there is Neutral
Light)
So why not just get a fully automatic mini ATV? Then
there is no shifting...
There are numerous
benefits to the proprietary BTM 75 drivetrain:
-
Dramatic increase in low speed
pulling power (especially when throttle is limited to 8mph
or below)
-
Maintains a stable the top end
speed when throttle limiter is applied (fully automatic
minis create a snowball effect and continue to
accelerate)
-
Ability to disengage the
transmission (eliminates dangerous "runaways" if
started with throttle depressed)
-
Engine braking on downhill runs
(simply release the throttle and the engine will slow the
unit down*)
-
Engine braking will stop the
unit when the remote kill is applied on downhill (this
will not happen on a fully automatic*)
-
Easy engine warm-ups with
neutral gear (fully automatic mini ATVs will try to
climb your leg when warming up)
-
Friction Back-up starting if the battery is
dead (real easy and very
effective)
Better performance designed for little
riders. The safest design available today.
